These cards were issued by Typhoo Tea and were included in their packets of tea. They date from 1939 and feature pictures of wild flowers that are found in the British countryside.
Each card has an illustration of a flower family on the front together a description and pictures of the various different flowers within that family.
On the back of the card there is also an offer for people to save up vouchers for a reduced price fountain pen.
They are a full set of 25 original cards,
The cards are approx 10.0 x 3.7cm in size and are part of a series of sets of this 'long' size, which fitted into the standard tall tea packets.
There is some wear commensurate with the age of these cards but overall the set is in good condition.
A very attractive and informative set of cards.
