The Beauty of the Cotswolds. A guide to the towns, villages and Cotswold countryside.
Published by Jarrold & Sons Ltd of Norwich as part of their Magna-Crome series of books featuring various areas of Great Britain.
It describes itself as an "introduction to one of the loveliest districts in England".
It includes numerous photographs of the towns and villages of the area, most of which have remained unchanged. A feature is the almost total lack of cars in the photographs.
A map is included on the inside back cover.
It is undated but looking at the few cars in the photos I would think it was published in the mid 1950's.
There are 36 pages plus thin card covers. Size 18 x 13.5cm.
There is some wear to the covers and the spine but the inside pages are clean and in good condition. Overall it is still in pretty good condition for its age.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
