These are old hat and coat hooks, probably from the 1910's.
They are a very decorative design. Made of steel they have 2 hooks on a shaped backplate with 4 fixing holes.
Not specifically dated but they are very typical of the hooks found in Edwardian homes etc. Given their condition they are probably from the 1910's.
The top hook projects 95mm high and the lower hook 55mm. Overall height is 135mm. Backplate is maximum 60 x 35mm.
Made of steel they have been used and original finish has mostly disappeared. The traces of the original finish shows they were probably bronzed or gilded. They are ready for final cleaning and finishing, or could be left as they are or waxed for a more industrial look.
Great hooks that will really add period style to wherever you fix them.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
