A copy of the booklet of by-laws for the Regulation of the Prince of Wales's Masonic Lodge. Lodge number 259.
The cover has the Lodge crest on the front comprising the crest of the Prince of Wales surrounded by the motto of the Order of the Garter and surmounted by a crown. Inside the booklet gives details of the by-laws of the Lodge, which include the protocol when the Worshipful Master is "a Prince of the Blood Royal" and also when the Prince of Connaught is present.
It is undated but meetings were held at the Imperial Restaurant, Regent Street, London and the annual subscription was 5 guineas, which may help to date it, as may the reference to the membership of the Duke of Connaught.
Size 110 x 78mm, heavy card covers with 10 numbered pages plus some blank pages.
