The Manual of Gelatine Cookery as published by J & G Cox of Gorgie Mills in Edinburgh. It was produced to promote the use (and sale) of their "Instant Powdered Gelatine". This is the eighth edition published in 1936.
The book is a practical guide to cooking with gelatine and gives overall hints for its use together with pages giving 193 recipes. These are interspersed with coloured illustrations and specific tips where appropriate. Overall there are 91 pages.
Size 175 x 120mm with illustrated thin card covers.
There is some wear but overall the book is in pretty good condition for its age. Interestingly an advert for Davis gelatine has been used as a book mark.
