An advertising blotter for P K Bottomley, Pharmacist & Chemist of Prenton Road West, Prenton, Birkenhead.
I would imagine that this was issued nationally to advertise chemists and were personalised for each individual chemist shop. The telephone number has been added along the bottom edge with a rubber stamp. This blotter was part of a series and you were encouraged to collect the set.
It is undated but I would think it predates the NHS, presumably you were given one when you went to collect your prescription.
As P K Bottomley was also a photographic dealer you were probably also given one when you collected your holiday snaps.
Size 160 x 90mm, the front is slightly grubby but the back is unused.
