These cards showing various hints for repairs etc around the house were issued with Wills Cigarettes in 1936.
They are a set of 50, each card has an illustration of a 'Household Hint' on the front and a brief description of how to carry it out on the back.
The 'Hints' featured include building a radio, killing woodworm, fabric dyeing, home decorating, picture framing, garden paths plus lots of other tasks to help in the home and garden.
The cards are approx 6.8 x 3.5cms.
