Postcard of the frontage of Birmingham General Hospital. The building is now used as Birmingham Children's Hospital.
The scene is quieter than it would be today but there is a nice old omnibus and a few horse-drawn vehicles. The people in the picture don't seem too bothered by the traffic.
Good mono-chrome card published by Fred. Jones & Sons of Birmingham as part of their "Temple Courts" series. It has reference number 21 on the front.
It is unposted and undated but I would think it dates from around the time of WW1.
Some rounding of corners, otherwise good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
